Is it true that if you minor in French in a Canadian University, you get your major without cost?

   it’s untrue. The tuition differs depending on international, canadian, and province. I went to McGill and I think 20 percent are already fluent as a first language.

   No. If you MAJOR in French at a university in Québec, you get a tuition waiver. You don’t get anything just for minoring, and it won’t cover a double major either. I’m pretty sure it has to be an honours/specialized concentration in French, too.
